ROSALINDA PERRON - "Rose"
Rosalinda Perron was born in Mexico City and grew-up in East LA. After winning the best actress award from the theatre department at CSCLA, for the role of Katrina in Mother Courage, she ventured east to New York City. Ms. Perron preformed many roles off off Broadyway. She appeared as Ramona Gonzales on Ryan's Hope and had rolls on The Cosby Show, The Guiding Light, As the World Turns, and All My Children. She also performed at The Jewish Repertory Theatre in New York City in the role of Anna Petrovna in Chekhov's Ivanov. She spent some years in the roles of mother, bottle washer and CEO of her small business.Then miraculously, she got the role of Rose, in THE LESSON. Her most recent role was the lead in the film IN THE HOUSE OF ATHAZAGORA, written and directed by William Kernen. EMILY SPROCH - "Brandi"
Emily has been working in film, television, and theatre for 6 years. She currently lives in Manhattan with her boyfriend, director Nicholas Cotz. Most recently, she appeared on the Boston stage as Lord Silence in Moira
Buffini's "Silence" at the New Repertory Theatre (directed by Rick Lombardo).
WILLIAM KING APPEL - "Johnny"
I grew up in a house. I lived with my mom and dad and sisters. I never went to nursery school. Then, we moved. I went to elementary school. I graduated. I went to high school. I graduated. I went to a undergraduate school. I graduated. I went to work. I had to. I started acting. I needed to. I need more. I am going to go to film school. I feel like I'm not getting anywhere in life. JAY LAWRENCE KIMAN - "Mr. Finkel"
Jay Lawrence Kiman came to an acting career after working as a coordinator for NBC News and as a tennis coach. He has worked extensively in Regional Theatres throughout the United States. He has toured through Europe as the lead in "Rock Carmen" and toured the US with "Evita". He starred opposite Rue McClanahan in "Oklahoma" and has worked steadily Off-Broadway. This marks Jay's film short debut and he is proud to be a part of "The Lesson". He also worked with Billy Crystal in "Forget Paris". KEITH HERRON - "Shop Keeper"
Keith Herron was born in Lexington, KY on a cold winter day in the middle of the last century. He was a professor's brat who never stayed in one place too long. He moved from Kentucky to North Carolina to Germany to Florida to Indiana to Washington, DC to Indiana to Malaysia to Minnesota to -- his current home in New York City. Keith has appeared in more than two dozen student, independent, and feature films, as well as TV shows such as Forensic Files, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and specials featured on EWTN.
