“Slider” is a coming of age story about a skate board riding, troubled, mixed race teen who looses her father at an early age and then her mother to drugs and jail. Caught stealing she lands in a community service program run by an eclectic group of motorcycle riding women. Through learning to ride and the camaraderie of her new family, the women help Slider find a way to accept and understand who she is.
